Judges comments

' A very competent modest-budget well laid out magazine.

The variety in layout and use of photos and graphics make it a pleasant read.

This being combined with good content and information. Very nice.'

' A splendid publication, as ever. It exudes quality, organisation and style and projects a very positive, professional image of the Great Central Railway. A clear typeface also helps to make it easy on the eye and encourage you to read further.

In short this is an extremely slick publication.' ' Good picture content, including colour, with a very professional feel to the publication. Coverage, rightly centred on news of the railway but a "memory" article and notes for model railway enthusiasts should provide something of interest for all members.'

' The illustrations are consistently excellent. It is particularly pleasing to see such a superb job made of black and white reproduction as this seems to be something of a dying art these days. Long may such standards be maintained' ' Keeps up its quality image and the photography is superb. The layout is excellent, using light and dark typefaces, with a good ratio of words to pictures'
